Windows Server 2008 R2 Permissions to write reports

I have migrated the installation of WebLog Expert to a new web server running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition and I can't seem to generate any reports when I run against the log files. I get an error about creating the .htm files in the reports directory I selected. It looks like a permissions error but I am not sure what permissisions to assign to the directory that WLE is writing the report to. I have tried writing the report to another directory but I get the same error.

Any ideas of how to solve this?

Thanks.

You need to give full permissions for the output folders (or permissions to write, read, list and modify). You can also set any account in the schedule settings (it will work for all the profiles). Please also note that mapped drives won't work in scheduler, you need to use full UNC paths instead.

So what permissions do I need to give to already existing folders, as we have about 10 sites migrated, with about 60 profiles, and it would be simple to change permissions on one folder then all the scheduled profiles??
Thanks.

If you run the analysis manually (not from the scheduler), you need to have permissions to write to the specified output folder.

I recommend you to try using the default output folder - C:\ProgramData\WebLog Expert\Report\ . Please note that WebLog Expert uses another output folder (C:\Program Files\WebLog Expert\Report\) by default in older versions of Windows (e.g. in Windows Server 2003). That output path doesn't work in Windows 2008 unless you change permissions for this folder, so if you migrated profiles from an older version of Windows you should change the output folder to C:\ProgramData\WebLog Expert\Report\ . This path is also used by default if you create a new profile.
