Please find the step-by-step instructions below:

1. Create a new profile.

2. Set it to analyze all log files for your site, e.g. you can specify a wildcard like C:\Logs\*.log if your log files are located in the C:\Logs folder.

3. Set the time range in the profile properties to "All activity" (the default value).

4. Analyze the profile.

When new files are saved to the folder, just analyze the profile without changing any profile properties.

You said that the program just analyzes the new log files without reanalyzing already processed logs. In case, If there are no removed or modified log files, all the log files will not reanalyzes. But when I just analyzed the new logs, the program also will reanalyzes the old logs and need so much time. Hence, I don't think the program will detects what should analyzes.

The things I need to be done is currently I have few years logs and I would like to analyze them once. Then later everydays will have new logs putting into the folder automatically. Every week I will need to generate reports which contain those old data provided that I no need to analyze the old data again as it takes too much time to do it!

Can weblog expert handle this? If yes, could you provide me the step by step procedure so that I can follow?

Thanks.

You shouldn't choose custom time range, in this case old data will be deleted.

You just need to create a profile and set the time range to "All activity". Then you need to analyze your files. If new files are added, you need to analyze this profile without changing time range (it should be always set to "All activity"). The program will analyze just new log files automatically as long as old logs are unchanged and you haven't changed profile properties or program options that affect analysis.

After installed new version, I still can't fix the problem.

After the program analyzed all activity, the report is exported. then, if there are the new log files again that the program needs to analyze. In my case, I have analyzed the old log files before, also they have not removed or modified. Therefore, I just need to analyze the newer logs without these old log files. It is because If I reanalyze all older log files that need too much time. So I select "Specified time range" in the "Time Range" for Profile Properties and then the program just analyzes the newer logs. But problem will occur, that the new report will replace the old one and then I will lost the older data. In this situation, I just want have a updated report that included all existed log files(already processed old logs and new logs). How can I do that?

As you installed the geolocation databases, the program needs to reanalyze all log files to create city/state/country reports using the databases for old log file too. However, if you install newer versions of the databases, the program won't reanalyze old log files.

The program also needs to reanalyze old log files if some important settings are changed as described at http://www.weblogexpert.com/help/wlex...
