Click Overlay

Click Overlay report results appear to be ignoring unique identifiers in the query. E.g. all content links are 10% when each are in fact a unique piece of content.

The click overlay uses URLs that are shown in the main report (e.g. Access Statistics > Pages table). By default these URLs don't include queries, so click overlay also don't use queries to differentiate the links.

You can show queries in URLs by unchecking the "Truncate text after question marks (?) in file names" option in the program options, "Analysis | General" category. It is also possible to set this option for specific profile only in Profile Properties > General > Custom analysis settings > Files > Query parameters in file names.

Could you please send us the Report.wler file generated for your report? Our email is support@weblogexpert.com

I tried your suggestion but the Click Overlay report still shows the same percentage value for links that have the same filename (but different by query parameter). Can you help?
