This month report for my website shows a lot of unknown domain visitors. How is that possible? What does that mean?

Do you mean the "Top-Level Domains" or "Countries" report?

The Top-Level Domains report can show domains only if log files contain domain names instead of visitor IPs (that is unusual) or if the DNS lookup is shown in the Profile Properties. However, some IPs don't have corresponding domain names, so they will be shown as "Unknown" in this report even if the DNS lookup is enabled or logs contain resolved domain names.
