Our websites are behind load balancers which is also a proxy. In our logs from each web server it only show source traffic coming from the IP address of the load balancer and not actual visitors IP. How can we get the actual source IP of the customers?

Logging the X-Forwarded-For field in IIS 7 requires installing the Advanced Logging module. You can find information on setting IIS to log this field with this module at http://blog.loadbalancer.org/iis-and-.... You can also find additional information on this module at http://www.iis.net/learn/extensions/a....

Most load balancers send original client IP in the X-Forwarded-For header field. Most web servers, including IIS and Apache, allow this field to be logged, and in such case WebLog Expert can use the logged visitor IP to generate correct reports.

If you need more information on setting up logs for your web server, please let me know which web server (including version) you use.
