Top Paths Through Site
Hello,
I am trying to understand the Top Paths Through Site report. I am hoping you can help me to use this information.
Path Visitors % of Total Visitors
/ 10900 8.78%
/dept.asp 5322 4.28%
/default.asp 2031 1.64%
/receipt_new.asp 1763 1.42%
For the "Path" column. Is that an entry page to the site? When does the path tracking start? As soon as the visitors comes to the website?
Many of my top paths only show one page, rather than a path. Why would this happen?
What does the visitor number mean in the "Visitor" column. Is this the number of visitors who followed the exact path?
For the "% of Total Visitors" column, is that the % of total visitors to the site who traveled that exact path?
Can I set up goal paths for sub-directories? For example: I want to track:
from the homepage to /dept
from homepage to /item
from homepage to /subcategory
How do I track just the homepage?
Thank you for your help,
Gina
