Does the same problem occur if you use the built-in web server?

No, but for some reason, the built-in server is not working. In any case, I want to publish the reports in a IIS server where I have several relates apps. Do I have to copy some additional config files? (i.e. users)
Thanks!

The web server should recognize users automatically if you have added the users in the server settings in WebLog Expert.

It's strange that the built-in server doesn't work. Maybe the issues are related, e.g. maybe for some reason the web server and web reports cannot read the program settings because of security/permission problems. They both need to be able to read data from the "C:\ProgramData\WebLog Expert" folder, so you should check that it's not encrypted and services can access it.

You can also check the application pool settings for the report (Advanced Settings for the pool) and try to change the pool identity. The default value is ApplicationPoolIdentity, you can try to change it to LocalSystem.

Thanks for the quick response. I changed AppPool and security access and it is still not working. The site is working on IIS but it does not recognize users defined in "Server properties. Any other advice? Thanks!

What operating system, browser and WebLog Expert version do you use?

We are using Windows 2008 R2 STD, all browsers, IIS 7.

Well, it's strange. There is also another customer reporting the same problem ( https://getsatisfaction.com/weblogexp... ) but we could not reproduce it under Windows 2008 R2. Such problem was reported by our customers just once before, and it was solved by changing the pool identity to LocalSystem, but it doesn't help here.

So it's not clear what could cause the issue. Maybe there was a recent Windows update that caused the issue.

We'll perform additional tests, and hopefully there will be other ideas on solving it. As of now I recommend you to try to upgrade to the latest version of WebLog Expert (8.2) if you use an older version, and try to disable your antivirus or other security software - maybe they don't allow the report site to read user settings.

If you have any additional information on the issue (e.g. if it occur on one computer and doesn't occur on another, or if the problem appeared recently, while it worked correctly before), please inform us as it could help to solve the issue.
