How is the number of visitors in the Most used browser table calculated?

The summary page provides a total count of visitors of : 1884
However the Most Used Browsers table gives a number of visitors of : 1969
How come the numbers don't match?
Can you explain how the number of visitors is generated ?

There may be visitors that use several browsers or other tools to access your site, so number of visitors in the browsers report (calculated as sum of number of visitors for all browsers) may be higher that total number of visitors.
