Google Analytics and similar services collect information on visitors using scripts (counters) installed on site pages, so they cannot report on visitors that requested non-page files only (e.g. users that downloaded files using direct links from other sites) and visitors with scripts disabled in their browsers.

Unlike these services, WebLog Expert analyzes log files and report information on all real visitors (all the recognized spiders are excluded automatically) requested any files from the site, so it may report larger number of visitors.

The Standard, Professional and Enterpise edition can be set to exclude specific visitors from analysis, e.g. to report on visitors that requested pages only. However, the Lite version doesn't have such capability.
