Logfiles overlap, count twice

Say I have two log files that coinside within each other. One file is from 8-1-2011 to 9-15-2011. The other file is from 9-1-2011 to 9-30-2011. When I process the files using WebLog Expert, the days from 9-1-2011 to 9-15-2011 count twice, from each log file.

How do I make it so only 1 entry is counted no matter what? This is troublesome especially if I have to create a report from log files going back years, and I'm not sure which files overlap.

Thanks!

Why not go into one of teh weblogs with notepad or a text editos and simply delete the entries that you do not want.

The simple way is to find the first date of the latter webslog. go to teh second log, search for that entry and then remove all entries from there onwards.

Problem solved.

Unfortunately the program cannot detect overlapping data, it analyzes all entries in the log files.
