When I look at the report some page titles are reported as one thing but when I browse to the page it is something different?

The issue may occur because the pages and their titles are shown differently if you login to the site, while the program requests them directly without logging in.

This is an internal system we are using and there are no access restrictions or requirements to login to view pages. Actually WLE, the log files & the website are all on the same server

There are two main possible reasons for problems with page titles:

1. For some reason your web server returns different pages when you request them using a web browser and when WebLog Expert requests them. It is usually caused by authentication as the program doesn't send cookies, username/password or similar data sent by your web browser.

2. Maybe the program requests incorrect URLs. You should check that the URLs shown in the reports along with titles are exactly the same ones that are shown in your web browser. E.g. there may be a difference because the program doesn't show page queries in reports by default and also requests URLs without queries, while some sites return different pages depending on query paramaters.

If it doesn't help, could you please provide more information on this issue, including report generated by the program and screenshot of the browser window with a page loaded so we could compare the titles and URLs. If you prefer you can send this information to us by email to support@weblogexpert.com
