Hello

If I create a dynamic HTML report by schedule then I get the following error message:

Can not show the report: no information available for this profile or you do not have rights to access it.

But when I start the dynamic report manually using the Analyze button in the main menu it works fine!?

Where the data are stored for dynamic HTML report (folder)?

Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks and best regards

You should check the schedule log, maybe the program cannot access your log files because they are located on a network drive and local account is used. You can find more information on this issue here.

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately this does not help me further.

The log files and the software are together locally on a laptop and run by the local system account.

The analysis and the PDF report run through without any problems, but I can not open the report by dynamic HTML.

Schedule log:

08/27/2012 10:10:00 | Info | Scheduler | Running task "IMS"
08/27/2012 10:10:00 | Info | Scheduler | Running command ""C:\Program Files (x86)\WebLog Expert\WLExpert.exe" -FromScheduler "IMS""
08/27/2012 10:10:01 | Info | WebLog Expert | Started with parameters "-FromScheduler "IMS""
08/27/2012 10:10:36 | Info | WebLog Expert | Finished
08/27/2012 10:10:36 | Info | Scheduler | Task finished

It seems to be a problem with permissions. When the schedule runs he analysis, the program runs under local system account (unless another account is specified in the schedule settings), so the database is saved under this account. When you run the analysis manually, the program works under your account and saves the database with its permissions.

It seems that the server cannot access the databases created under local system account for some reason. If you use IIS for dynamic reports, you should try to use the built-in server. You can also check permissions/account used by IIS.

The database files are located in the "C:\ProgramData\WebLog Expert\LogCache\AnalysisCache" folder if you use Windows Vista/2008/7. You should also check the permissions of files in the "C:\ProgramData\WebLog Expert\WebServer\PublishedProfiles" that is also used by the dynamic reports.

The problem is solved!

1. Reinstalling WebLog Expert
2. Example profile supplemented with the criteria of the previous profile
3. Done!

Thanks for your help - the thread can be closed.
