There are unsolved problems in the character conversion of the PDF reports

UTF-8 / Latin-1 character conversion with GERMAN UMLAUTE äöü ÄÖÜ?

I attached a screenshot

Thank you for keeping us updated. If you have any additional problems with the Unicode conversion, you should check that the default language for non-Unicode applications is set to your local language in the Windows settings ("Region and Language" dialog, "Administrative" tab, "Change system locale..." button).

All settings on this developer box are fine. The problem is in the character conversion when generating the PDF report.

I'm programmer, this is an English Language Windows 7 Box.
I'm German but all software is English.

the Report Data is from a German language Wordpress Blog with enabled UTF-8

To me it looks like WebLog Expert has problems to handle it properly.

It seems that the titles aren't indeed correctly converted to local encoding. We'll try to fix it in the next version of the program, I'll post in this topic when the issue is fixed.
