Hello,

could the process involving in getting the logs from iis cause a huge impact on cpu/memory usage. we are seeing high usage every 3-6 days on iis apppool and was wondering if weblog could be a major factor causing this.

as of now im seeing daily tasks in weblog that I am assuming it's trying to pull the data off the logs for reporting purposes. should I be modified?

If logs are got via a network share, it shouldn't affect apppool CPU usage (or any CPU usage). apppool CPU usage may be affected by dynamic HTML reports being viewed if they are hosted on this server, while it should take few seconds when report pages are generated. However, if the program itself is located on another server, it shouldn't cause such issue.
