Tracked Files Summary report shows but no others

I setup a profile to look at some Tracked Files. The Summary report is showing but not any of the other reports. I checked in Options > Reports > Tables (& Contents) and every report is checked under Tracked Files. I don't see any other settings to adjust.

Do you use a static HTML/PDF report or a dynamic HTML report?

My assumption is static HTML report but I don't see a setting where I can choose between static and dynamic HTML reports. I found the help topic under Web Server where it talks about settings for dynamic HTML report but not an enable/disable setting. How do I tell?

Static HTML reports are usual reports that look like http://www.weblogexpert.com/sample/in... , while dynamic reports are shown by the built-in server (or IIS) and look like http://demo.weblogexpert.com/Login.as...

I guess I do both since I use the Built-in Server and do the Static reports. I have selected "Mutiple" under Reports for all my profiles and do a "Local Drive" report into HTML and another one into the Web Server.

Neither report shows anything except the Summary report for Tracked Files.

The tracked files table in dynamic HTML reports look differently - you need to click the Details image to the left of the file name to get detailed information on it. Doesn't it work in your case?

Static HTML reports should contain the list of files in the contents. If they aren't shown, could you try to create a separate profile (e.g. the Sample profile) with the local drive destination only and check if report is generated correctly for it.

You should also check the custom report contents in Profile Properties > Report, maybe the reports are disabled here.

I didn't have "Custom Report Contents" checked under the Reports tab for the particular profile. However, checking it and then going into "Customize" I did see that all the reports were all ready selected.

Could it be that the issue was that I didn't have "Custom Report Contents" checked even though they were all selected under "Options" for the program?

I am going to rerun the profile now and check.

I tried it on a smaller website that I use for testing and that seems to be the answer. I see the extra reports in the Static HTML report using the WebLog Export Report Viewer. They still don't appear in the Dynamic HTML report via the built-in Web Server but maybe it needs to run again.

I reran a profile and via the WebLog Expert Report Viewer I get under "Tracked Files" two items: Summary and another for the file being tracked "/test.htm". Under "/test.htm" it lists all the sub-reports for that item.

When I view that same report in the Web Server it only shows the Summary report but there is the "Details" icon to the left of the file name. I don't think that was appearing for the profile previously without having the "Custom Report Contents" box checked in the respective profile even though all reports were turned on within Options.

I went back and unselected the "Custom Report Contents" and re-ran the profile again. Everything still showed up in both locations.

No clue but I swear it wasn't there before.

Probably there was a problem with previously saved report data. When you checked the "Custom report contents" option and reran the analysis, the program decided that it needs to reanalyze the logs as the settings have been changed. So in fact the setting itself doesn't cause or fix the issue.

It is also possible to clear the analysis database in Profile Properties > General (just for this profile) or in Options > Analysis > Log Cache (for all profiles) so it will be recreated on next analysis. However, it is rarely necessary as the program should refresh the database automatically if required.

What version of the program do you use? If you have recently upgraded to version 8.0 beta, maybe the problem appeared because this version could not correctly read databases of the previous version.
