Lite: top 50 page views incorrectly reported

Using Lite to analyse daily logs from hoster. Every now and then (approx once per week) the analysis of the top 50 pages shows only one or max two visits per page. But the summary shows 3000+ page views. Hoster says there's nothing wrong with the logs. Any ideas why this happens?

The issue are probably caused by issues with log format. If you use an Apache server, the Standard/Processional/Enterprise versions of the program can be configured to parse log files differently, while the Lie version doesn't have such feature. If IIS logs are analyzed, log format in the server settings is to be changed.
