What are the Wget results within Browser version report?

When I run weblog expert lite against my IIS web log to get browser version info I see mostly Wget as the browser version.

What is this?

Wget (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wget) is a cross-platform command line tool used to download files. It may be used manually or in scripts, e.g. maybe in your case it is used in some kind of monitoring script.

You can filter by Wget using an include "Browser" filter to check which files are downloaded using it. You can also exclude requests of Wget if you wish.
