How can I have higher unique IPs than visitors?

I understand that visitors are counted by their IP address within the timeout period. I am showing a higher number of Total Unique IPs than Total Visitors for a day. How does that happen?

Number of unique IPs includes IPs of spiders that aren't counted as visitors, so the number of unique IPs may be higher that the number of visitors.

I have set the option (Count spider as visitor) to NO
the numbers is the same!
how can I resolve this issue?

The "Count spiders as visitors" option doesn't affect number of total unique IPs shown. If you wish to count only visitors in the IP count, you need to exclude spiders from your report by creating an exclude "Spider" filter with value "*" (without quotes).
