# prevents files from appearing in report

pound sign (hash, hash tag) in a file name prevents the file from appearing in the report.

For example 2016-06-20_podcast_#3_navigator.mp3 will never show up in the report.

Text after the # character isn't sent to the server and so isn't stored in log files analyzed by the program (this text s accessible in the browser scripts only), so unfortunately the program cannot provide reports on it.
