Product Crashes

I inherited this product and if it were up to me, I'd remove it. It's unreliable, crashes often, the scheduler often just stops running its jobs even though the service is running - without any errors. EMailed support previously and received no response.

With that aside: Here are my problems:
The scheduler will stop running scheduled jobs even though the service is in a running status, there are no errors.

WebLogExpert will often crash in the middle of performing an analysis that has a lot of data.

Has anyone here found a way to actually reach someone for support? I get the feeling this product was made by someone in their basement, collected money from customers, and then abandoned the product.

Hi Keith! I'm sorry that you have problems with our software. I've searched through our emails and found your email from June 8 as well as our response from the same date. The response contains some questions regarding the issue that could help us to identify the issue:

"What is the size of your log files per day and total size? Logs of what web server do you analyze?

Could you also send me the details of the crash (problem signature), you can find and copy them in the reliability history in the Windows control panel."

You can send us the details of the crash as well as additional information to support@weblogexpert.com . I'm not sure whether you will receive our response by email (as for some reason you haven't received our first response), but I'll send it from another server as well as duplicate it here to be sure that you have received it.

Hi Michael,
I don't see that email. I'll email support again and CC my personal email address to ensure I see the response. FYI, the problems are still occurring. I'll email the details you asked for.

Hi Keith,
I've sent you the response, please let me know here if you haven't received it - I'll send it from another server in this case.

Hi Michael,
I received your response and replied yesterday but have not received any replies back yet. I need to know if the backup file you requested from us contains the stored credentials we use to launch the scheduled tasks or any other PII that would violate our company's policy / SOX compliance, etc...
Thanks.
